Coverage and limits

BuilderMaxPro is software, not a law firm. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

Covered projects

Texas private projects with original contracts entered into on or after January 1, 2022.

Not covered

Public projects and the Prompt Payment Act are not covered.

The facts you enter

Dates and forms depend on the facts you enter. Check those facts and ask a Texas construction attorney about your situation.

What you do

You enter the facts and review every page. You sign, send and file. BuilderMaxPro does not mail, serve or file anything, or record anything with the county clerk.

BuilderMaxPro does not guarantee that a lien is valid or enforceable, or that you will be paid.

Known limits

Retainage, payment-bond and extended-suit dates are being corrected; check them with a Texas construction attorney.

Questions still with counsel

Which holidays extend a deadline, and when suit deadlines start, are still questions for counsel.

I can't tell you whether to send a notice or file a lien, or whether a deadline applies to your situation. That's a question for a Texas construction attorney. I can show you how BuilderMaxPro works.
